Jason Eric Schiffman, MD, MA, MBA, is the founder and Medical Director of the Camden Center and the UCLA Dual Diagnosis Program.Ìý He is a Diplomate of the National Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is certified in Addiction Medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine.Ìý He previously served as chief resident psychiatrist at the UCLA Anxiety Disorders Program and Editor in Chief of Anxiety.org.Ìý he completed his residency in psychiatry at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior and is a graduate of the MD/MBA program at the University of Southern California where he focused on health and Human Behavior and is a graduate of the MD/MBA program at the University of Southern California where he focused on health systems management and technology-based healthcare delivery.Ìý He has extensive research experience in molecular biology and is the author of numerous scientific publications in this field.Ìý Dr. Schiffman also received a Master of Arts degree in Linguistics from UCLA where he specialized in syntax and semantics.Ìý Dr. Schiffman is a nationally recognized expert on addiction and co-occurring mood and anxiety disorders and has written extensively on the subjects of addiction, anxiety, and depression in both the academic and popular press.Ìý Dr. Schiffman is also the creator of the Camden Model of Care, an integrative mental healthcare system which combines psychiatric diagnostic evaluation, feedback-based treatment planning, outcome measurement, and the matching of patients with individualized, multidisciplinary teams of clinicians.
